About Me
Lexie Woodroof is a London-based theatre director, assistant director, and producer working across new writing, musical theatre, and socio-political comedy. Her work centres on actor-driven storytelling and ensemble rehearsal processes, creating bold, high-energy productions that balance comedy with darker social themes.
Originally from the United States, Lexie has worked across the UK and internationally, directing and supporting productions in festival, fringe, and mid-scale venues. Recent work includes Kin-DREAD! at the Courtyard Theatre (Camden Fringe), alongside assistant directing credits on Punk Rock and Cul-De-Sac.
Lexie holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Northern Kentucky University and an MFA in Theatre Directing from the University of East London. Alongside her directing and producing work, she supports emerging artists and young performers through workshops and formal study.
